Traffic movement is free across the Rikoti Pass of the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international significance highway. The relevant statement was released by the Roads Department of the Georgia.

According to the agency, the movement of motor transport is slightly slowed down at Surami and Vertkvichala due to the high intensity.

The traffic movement has been restored for light vehicles under special traffic rules, which implies that light vehicles are allowed to drive from 7 am to 7 pm, and trailers from 9 pm to 6 am.

The situation is monitored under a 24-hour regime. Patrol Police are mobilized on different sections of the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze highway and regulate road traffic to ensure the smooth and safe movement of passengers.

Traffic movement was limited for all motor transport at the Rikoti Pass due to land sliding processes for several days.
