At today’s Government meeting, the Prime Minister spoke about large-scale shows planned at Black Sea Arena.
“You know that it has been completed successfully, and the Ministry of Culture and the Administration are working on this topic. Black Sea Arena’s management has done a great job. They have presented a concrete plan, and this year will mark a boom of top-notch performers, artists, as their concerts will be held. As an explanation, I would like to add that it has been said that 70 million GEL may be spent on these shows, which of course may be the budget, but we expect both direct and indirect revenues.
We may be talking about at least 100 million. Add to that the country’s growing recognizability in general, prestige, and so on. It is very important, and we will continue, and I believe it will be a successful season. We have very serious progress in tourism. Last year was a success with over 5 million visitors. And we need to work harder in this direction”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
