The Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze held a meeting with the State Secretary to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Diana Janse.

The central theme of the meeting concerned compliance with the EU recommendations and the reforms in the country. The parties deliberated on the domestic political situation of Georgia, including the parliamentary agenda, cooperation between the parties and the reduction of polarization, as well as the facts of international fraud recently detected in Georgia.

The conversation touched upon the intensification of bilateral relations and high-level exchange visits. Stockholm is committed to rendering aid to Georgia at the EU integration path.

The meeting held in the Foreign Affairs Ministry was attended by the Ambassador of Georgia to Sweden, H.E. Irakli Khutsurauli.
