The Speaker of the Parliament addressed the opposition concerning the election of two non-judicial members to the High Council of Justice.

The plenary agenda of May 29-June 1 was supplemented by the election of 4 candidates to the HCJ, who progressed to the third round, which was declared by the Speaker at the Bureau.

“I would like to address the Opposition that this is the moment when the fulfillment of the one of 12 recommendations is totally in the hands of the opposition. The Parliamentary Majority was already mobilized in the previous week and will be mobilized in the upcoming week.

We need at least 90 votes and the opposition shall assume responsibility by compliance with 12 recommendations and I hope they will demonstrate their responsibility next week”, - said Shalva Papuashvili.
