Levan Ioseliani, Public Defender of Georgia, who is on an official visit to Strasbourg, met with Marko Bošnjak, Vice-President of the European Court of Human Rights.

The topics discussed at the meeting included the nature of the lawsuits filed by Georgia with the European Court of Human Rights and the amicus curiae briefs developed by the Ombudsman, as well as the importance of cooperation between the Strasbourg Court and the Public Defender’s Office and the prospects of deepening this cooperation in the future.
