Today, August 2, Georgian Orthodox Church celebrates St. Elijah and St. Ilia the Righteous commemoration day, who are patron saints of His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II.

The Catholicos Patriarch of Georgia will conduct the solemn service in the Sioni Cathedral.
