Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II, issues an appeal regarding the Rachi tragedy and expresses his sorrow for the dead and the missing.

“Our entire population and we are watching with concern the events developed as a result of the natural disaster in Racha.

Of course, the believers have been praying since yesterday, but the situation of dozens of people is still unclear.

I ask everyone to help them by reading the prayers and psalms.

May God bless Georgia and all its inhabitants”, - says the Patriarch.
