The search-and-rescue operation in the disaster zone held continuously with the help of night vision appliances.

The rescue operation in the municipality of Oni, in the disaster area, is being held in round the clock regime, for the third day. Fire-rescuers of the Emergency Situations Management Service, police units, drones, special equipment and border police helicopters are involved in the operation. Herewith, K-9 unit of the Emergency Situations Management Service is involved in search activities.

So far, 18 bodies have been found by the rescuers. More than 200 people have been transported to a safe place in the course of the rescue operation.
