Employees of Gldani-Nadzaladevi Police Main Division under Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operational and investigative activities detained D.C. (DoB 1978) on charges of robbery.

The committed crime envisions from 7 to 11 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that on August 8 of the current year, the accused person broke into one of the branches of Liberty Bank, where he illegally appropriated cash and fled from the scene.

The police, as a result of investigative actions and operational measures, arrested D.C. few hours after committing the crime.

Law enforcement officers seized part of the appropriated cash as evidence.

The investigation is being conducted under Article 178 part IV of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
