From the end of the day, August 11, till the morning of August 13, against the background of high temperature, rain is expected in most areas of Western Georgia and some areas of Eastern Georgia.

Strong lightning and hail are possible in some places in mainly western regions of Western Georgia and Eastern Georgia.

According to the National Environment Agency, the expected heavy rains may cause a significant increase in water levels on the rivers of Georgia, floods on small rivers, and the initiation and activation of landslides in the mountainous areas of the country.
