MPs from the opposition interrupt Tea Tsulukiani’s speech in the Parliament

Opposition MPs interrupted Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, reporting to the Parliament within the Ministerial Hour format.

MPs Salome Samadashvili, Tina Bokuchava, Khatuna Samnidze and Tamar Kordzaia approached Tea Tsulukiani at the tribune to unfurl a banner, which depicted a Georgian Dream’s emblem and read a phrase: “Russian warship, go f*** yourself!”

Irakli Zarkua, MP from the Georgian Dream, pulled the banner down. After this incident the Speaker of the Parliament announced a technical break. After the break, Shalva Papuashvili spoke about the incident and said that this incident is shameful.

Tea Tsulukiani wished the MPs endurance after the confrontation: “I was in this hall for a while, I had the honor and I remember it, but today the situation is even more intense and I want to wish you all endurance”.
