In Rustavi, at the entrance of the city, the installation of the “Horses of Freedom” monument is underway.

The author of the composition is the sculptor Jumber Jikia. The monument was erected at the entrance of the city, on the square in 2003, and in a few years it was dismantled. Rustavi City Hall, at the request of the population, within the framework of the city entrance rehabilitation project, decided to return the monument. Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze and Jumber Jikia attended the installation process of the sculptural composition today.

A lighting system and green islands will be installed on the territory of the monument, technical water reservoirs have already been arranged, which will be supplied from the Mtkvari river, green spaces will be watered from the mentioned reservoirs through the irrigation system. On the area of 13,735 square meters, grass will be sown and various types of trees and plants will be planted. Land preparation and irrigation systems are currently in progress, after which lawns and planting of trees will begin.
