The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia concludes his visit to Brussels. The last meeting he held with the European Union Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi.
At the meeting, special attention was paid to the implementation of 12 recommendations defined by the European Commission.
The minister informed the European Commissioner about the work done by Georgia in terms of fulfilling the priorities set during the visit of the High Representative, Joseph Borelli, and noted once again that the country will ensure further progress in this direction.
The European Commissioner welcomed the efforts of the Georgian side, especially the steps taken recently towards the implementation of the recommendations, and expressed his readiness to continue close coordination with the Georgian government.
