The Minister of Internal Affairs along with his deputy held a meeting with the heads of the structural units of the Agency. Directors of the Economic and Logistics departments, as well as the chairman of the security police and the chiefs of the Public Safety Command Center, Service Agency and Health Protection Service took part in the meeting.

Heads of structural units presented the quarterly report to Vakhtang Gomelauri and Giorgi Butkhuzi. During the working meeting, the implemented and ongoing infrastructure projects and the issue related to the budget of the MIA were discussed.

It was noted that in order to further improve the working conditions of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the implementation of various infrastructure projects is actively underway, including the construction and rehabilitation of the buildings of the MIA, as well as the renewal of machinery, equipment and car fleet.

The meeting also covered the issue on the trend of increasing the budget for the ministry.

The Minister held another meeting along with his deputy, Ioseb Chelidze. The meeting was attended by the directors of the departments of Special Tasks, Protection of facilities and Strategic Pipelines Protection, and the head of the Emergency Situations Management Service. The discussion at the current meeting touched on the ongoing reforms in the departments: the construction of new bases in the Department of Special Tasks and the process of rearming employees, the direction of strengthening emergency and rescue forces. At the end of the meeting, Gomelauri expressed gratitude to the colleagues for their service and gave them relevant instructions.
