The Georgian Central Election Commission [CEC] hosts the 11th International Conference on the fight against disinformation in Batumi, Adjara.

“We will discuss electoral technologies and the fight against disinformation, especially in the technological context, to protect the integrity of elections and the electoral environment from the harmful influence we have seen many times from disinformation campaigns. This is not only the challenge of our country but of many countries, especially in the 21st century, when the disinformation and false narratives have no boundaries”, - said Giorgi Kalandarishvili, the Chairman of CEC.

Over 100 representatives from election administrations of 25 countries are taking part in the conference.
