Prime Minister of Georgia attends the opening of the Global Gateway Forum

The Prime Minister of Georgia attended the opening of the Global Gateway Forum. The event was opened by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

Leaders of different countries also delivered openings speeches. As it known, Irakli Garibashvili will be a keynote speaker at the work panel Transport Corridors of the Global Gateway Forum.

The Global Gateway is a European strategy designed to boost secure connections in digital, energy, and transport sectors, also to strengthen healthcare, education, and research systems around the world. The strategy is fully in line with the UN’s 2030 Agenda, its Sustainable Development Goals, and the Paris Agreement. The strategy seeks to mobilize up to 300 billion euros in investments to finance priority directions.
