The Speaker of Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, along with members of the parliamentary majority, visited the Mukhrovani military base. During the visit, they were hosted by Deputy Minister of Defense Grigol Giorgadze and Commander of Defense Forces Major General Giorgi Matiashvili.

The primary focus of the visit was to inspect the construction progress of the new base for the Special Operations Command. Colonel Otar Berianidze, Acting Commander of the Special Operations Forces, provided the delegation with detailed information about the ongoing infrastructure projects at the base.

Currently, the construction involves the development of 24 new buildings and the rehabilitation of 3 existing structures.
