The value of export increased by 9.1%, while the import increased 14% - GeoStat

External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 21 529.1 million in 2023, 12.5 percent higher year-on-year, reads the report of GeoStat.

The value of export increased by 9.1 percent reaching USD 6 090.6 million, while the import increased 14.0 percent and amounted to USD 15 438.5 million. The trade deficit equaled USD 9 347.8 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 43.4 percent.
