Committee discussions on new Government and government program starts in the Parliament today, February 5.

The new Government composition and government program were submitted to the Parliamentary Bureau on February 2.

The Georgian Dream nominated Irakli Kobakhidze for the post of Prime Minister. The change in the Cabinet of Ministers only affected the Minister of Defense - Juansher Burchuladze will be replaced by Irakli Chikovani, MP from the ruling party.

The composition of the new government looks like this:

Prime Minister of Georgia - Irakli Kobakhidze;
Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia - Giorgi Amilakhvari;
Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture - Otar Shamugia;
Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development - Levan Davitashvili;
Minister of Defense of Georgia - Irakli Chikovani;
Minister of Justice of Georgia - Rati Bregadze;
Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia - Tea Tsulukiani;
Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs - Zurab Azarashvili;
Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia - Irakli Karseladze;
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia - Ilia Darchiashvili;
Finance Minister of Georgia - Lasha Khutsishvili;
Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia - Vakhtang Gomelauri;
