Tomorrow, we will meet with Georgia’s new Prime Minister to encourage to continue working on the European path. Such a statement made today the European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy during his doorstep interview ahead of the Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels.
“What would be the main message of the EU during the meeting with the new Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze?” – was asked Josep Borrell.
“They are doing well, and there is strong support from the Georgian society. This is a good occasion for Georgia”, - he answered.
The Prime Minister of Georgia left for Brussels on his first visit - within the framework of the visit, he has planned bilateral meetings in the European Union and NATO.
The Head of the Government will participate in the 8th session of the Georgia-EU Association Council, after which a joint press conference of Prime Minister, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, and European Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement, Olivér Várhelyi will be held.
Irakli Kobakhidze will also hold a meeting with the Secretary General of NATO, and participate in the meeting of the NATO-Georgia Commission.
