In 2030, Georgia will be much more ready for membership than any other candidate country. Such a statement the Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze made at a press conference in Brussels.
“We can say one thing: we have ambitious plans regarding the integration of Georgia into the European Union. And in 2030 - the year designated by European Council President [Charles] Michel [as the year of enlargement] - Georgia will be readier for EU membership than any other candidate country.
This is our ambitious plan, this is our ambition, and we are very committed to the reform agenda, to the steps to be taken towards membership in the EU. We hope that before 2030 Georgia will become a full member of the EU”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
