Decisions in Georgia are made by Georgians, this is a principle that will not be revised. Such a statement made today Mamuka Mdinaradze, leader of the parliamentary majority, while speaking about “vetting”.
“When we see that where this principle has been introduced, those countries are several dozen points behind in all the world rankings related to the courts, naturally we are not going to imitate those countries that have gone backwards by making such reforms.
Therefore, if we add to this the national task that citizens of foreign countries should never make decisions regarding Georgia and that such decisions should always be made by Georgian citizens, then it is clear why we do not agree with vetting”, - said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
