The Government of Georgia discussed ongoing preparations for hosting the 57th annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank in Tbilisi.
A commission established for organizing the meeting emphasized the importance of successfully hosting the event. As the meeting noted, hosting the forum would contribute to promotion of Georgia’s investment and tourism opportunities.
The 57th annual meeting will feature 4,000 participants and guests, including Masatsugu Asakawa, the President of the Bank, its Vice Presidents and Executive Directors, on May 2 - 5. Delegations from 68 member countries, international financial institutions, private sector, civil society as well as international and domestic media will be present at the event.
