At the instruction of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Economy works intensively with air companies for the appointment of direct flights to the Düsseldorf, Dortmund and Hamburg so that Georgian citizens have the opportunity to attend the matches of the UEFA 2024 Euro Championships.

To discuss this topic, the Deputy Minister of Economy met with the Georgia-registered air companies’ representatives over the possibility of increasing frequency or adding flights to Germany.

“It is important for us to provide Georgian football fans with direct flights and travel at affordable prices so that they can cheer up our team every time of success and victory. With this aim, we will cooperate with all air companies for the government to have the right action plan and vision on stimulation of more direct flights with affordable prices”, - said Mariam Kvrivishvili.
