We are grateful for Germany’s valuable support, it is no coincidence that Germany is the 1st European country after Belgium that I visit as the Prime Minister of Georgia. Such a statement the Head of the Georgian Government made at the joint press conference with the Chancellor of Germany.

“Since the 90s, German support has played a special role in the development of our country, and we are grateful for this support. Of course, Germany’s support is of particular importance on our path to European integration, and I would like to once again emphatically thank our German friends and Mr. Chancellor personally for his support.

At the time of making this decision, we know that Germany’s position played an important role in shaping the relevant decision in a positive way. We have high hopes that close cooperation will continue in all aspects between Georgia and Germany both in terms of our country’s European integration and in terms of the development of our bilateral relations.

Today we had a conversation about all areas of our cooperation - political, economic, defense and security cooperation, absolutely all dimensions of our cooperation are important for us and we are sure that close cooperation will continue in the future”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
