“The Government shows another great weakness when it forcibly tries to bring civil servants to Tbilisi and hold a demonstration. The main question is, who is holding the promotion? I address [Irakli] Kobakhidze, [Bidzina] Ivanishvili, [Mamuka] Mdinaradze - who are you holding the rally for? For your own people? Are you going against your own people? Georgia will never turn its back on the EU. Everyone knows very well that you no longer have any moral basis to call yourself the Government. What you do is an indicator of your weakness. You are afraid, you are weak.

I appeal to the civil servants, stay strong, my dears. If someone intimidates or blackmails you, please, contact us. If anyone asks you to write a resignation letter, do not sign it. We will protect your rights. Those of you who openly say how they are blackmailing you, believe me, the Georgian people will appreciate this heroic action”, - said Giorgi Vashadze.
