Kote Petriashvili won the gold medal, became the world champion among under-17s, and I want to congratulate him on a very big success. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

"The U17 World Championship was held in freestyle wrestling, where Kote Petriashvili, the brother of the Olympic champion, won the gold medal, became the world champion among under-17s, and I want to congratulate him on his great success. I would also like to congratulate Nikoloz Maisuradze on the world vice-championship.

Georgian sport is on the way to success, and of course, everything will be done to support this trend. We are sure that Georgian sports will have even more success in the future, for which we will not reduce our efforts”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
