The court found Giorgi Bachiashvili and his accomplice Shota Karumidze guilty of illegally crossing the border and sentenced them each to 4 years and 6 months in prison.

The decision was announced in the City Court recently.

The prison sentence imposed on Bachiashvili today was combined with an 11-year sentence imposed for the cryptocurrency embezzlement case.
