The Chairman of the Government of Adjara summarized the ongoing projects in the region. Zurab Pataradze spoke about future plans. As he noted, during the tourist season, special attention is paid to creating new tourist products and improving the quality of service.
At today’s meeting, attention was also focused on infrastructure projects. Road construction is underway across 20 directions in all six municipalities, and the installation of water supply systems and gasification continues in 39 villages.
“Of course, when we talk about success, impact, and rapid development, infrastructure, economic growth, and attracting investment must follow in stride. In this context, I would like to emphasize that the budget of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara is more than one billion GEL, and I think this figure will grow even further in the future. Economic growth is one of the key components. We have impressive economic growth, and work in this direction continues.
Naturally, working with investors is one of the highest priorities. I would like to recall that just recently, we started a large-scale project in Kobuleti – “Swissôtel” has entered the region. I want to congratulate the residents of Batumi and the region.
The Olympic-standard swimming pool has been completed, which is very important. In general, a healthy lifestyle and supporting young people is a top priority for us. The construction of sports complexes in Keda, Khelvachauri, and Kobuleti is planned, and we have already taken specific steps”, - said Zurab Pataradze.
