Tamar Taliashvili, Georgian Ambassador to the US, held meetings with Congressmen

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the United States, Tamar Taliashvili, held meetings with Congressman Warren Davidson (R) and Congressman Brian Babin (R). Davidson serves as Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives National Security Subcommittee and is a member of the Foreign Affairs and Financial Services Committees. Among other roles, Babin is the Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.

During the meetings, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening relations between the United States and Georgia. The discussions also addressed ongoing geopolitical and economic developments in the region and internationally, including the importance of the “Middle Corridor” project and Georgia’s role within it.

Tamar Taliashvili expressed gratitude for the U.S. Congress’s unwavering support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
