The employees of Border Police graduated special, two-month, professional training for drone operators. The program was intended for the employees of the Border Police who will be tasked with operating drones in the process of protecting the State Border. The course included both theoretical training and practical exercises: flight route planning, flight control, observation, search and pursuit operations and data collection during the day and night.
It is noteworthy that last year, employees of the Coast Guard Department of the Border Police used drones in a test mode in the process of controlling the Coastline. Taking into account the successful results of this practice, this year, employees of the Coast Guard Department, with the representatives of other departments of the Border Police, underwent a relevant preparatory course.
From the end of the month, the active use of drones in the process of controlling the Coastline will begin. After the successful completion of the course, the participants were awarded relevant certificates.
