The employees of the Operative – investigative Department of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained 9 persons, for the fact of the attempt of illegal, group crossing of the State Border of Georgia.

As a result of operational measures and investigative actions carried out by the Border Police Officers, it was determined, that the detainees, avoiding the check point, on the area of the responsibility of the Border Sector “Sarphi”, tried illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia – Türkiye.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 19 – 344, Part II, Subparagraph “A”, which implies 5 years of the imprisonment.
