Category IV hazardous residential building to be replaced on Iosebidze Street. Such a statement made today the Mayor of Tbilisi.

"We were approached by the residents of 71 Iosebidze Street, together with a developer, requesting municipal support for the replacement of their unsafe residential building.

As of today, this housing block has been designated as a Category IV damaged building, which is naturally dangerous for the residents living there and requires complete demolition. A total of 45 families reside in this building.

Therefore, we have decided to implement the relevant support measures and assist the developer selected by the residents, with whom we communicated through their active engagement.

The 5-story building will be demolished, and a new, modern residential complex will be constructed in its place, where the property owners will receive fully renovated units.

I would like to address our citizens once again: take advantage of this opportunity, be active, participate in the replacement program, and the municipality will support you in every possible way", - said Kakha Kaladze.
