The employees of Operative – investigative Department of MIA Border Police, detained 3 persons for illegal crossing of the State Border and 1 person for the attempt of illegal crossing of the State Border.

As a result of the operative measures and investigative actions of the Border Police Officers, it was determined, that, the detainees from the Republic of Türkiye, implemented illegal crossing of the State Border, avoiding the check point, on the area of the responsibility: “Vale”, “Charali” and “Kartsakhi” of Akhaltsikhe Division of the Border Police. The Border Guards detained the above mentioned 3 persons during the illegal crossing of the State Border. Also, the Border Guards, detained 1 persons, who was tried to implement illegal crossing of the State Border of Georgia – Türkiye, avoiding the check point.

The investigation is ongoing under the article 344, Part I and the Article 19 – 344, Part I, which implies 5 years of the imprisonment.
