Prime Minister of Georgia meets the President of Iran

Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia met Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the meeting, which took place in Yerevan within the framework of the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the UN Convention on Biodiversity, discussions touched upon the existing relations between the two countries. Positive cooperation in the field of tourism was highlighted.

The meeting also focused on the situation in the region. The Prime Minister of Georgia re-emphasized the special importance of dialogue and diplomatic efforts for de-escalation and ensuring lasting peace.
