The main suspect of cyanide case may be released on Monday. Giorgi Mamladze`s lawyer has filed a motion in the court.

Yesterday, the court rejected for the second time and finally the motion of Mamladze`s lawyers to question the Synod members. High ranking priests only cooperate with the prosecution. Archbishop does not believe in the innocence of the Deacon.

Despite the refusal received by the lawyers , the number of witnesses to be questioned by the prosecution is growing.

The defense believes that the court will be able to prove that the cyanide was deliberately planted in Deacon`s luggage .

The prosecutor appealed to the court and asked for a month of the pre-trial period . In the new circumstances, most likely the lawyers will request to change the imprisonment as a preventive measure next week.
