At the meeting with Council of Europe delegation opposition will speak about media freedomand "Rustavi 2" case

Media freedom and Rustavi 2 case will be one of the main themes, which the opposition is going to focus at the meeting with the Council of Europe delegation.

The focus will be also made on the so-called law on wiretapping, the authority of President and his election rules.

"We will raise media freedom issue in general, the human rights-related violations, and naturally,the so- called wiretapping law, which besides the government, is nort approved by anyone in this country, "- said the head of the National Movement faction Roman Gotsiridze.

As for the constitutional changes - Opposition considers it important that the President of the country does not have only a symbolic role.

"It is important to maintain the electoral institute of teh president and at the same time, develop election legislation, since it is impossible under the conditions of receiving 48% of support to get 83% of the seats ," - said the head of the faction European Otar Kakhidze.

The parliamentary majority is ready to get acquainted with the recommendations of the delegation. The management team focuses on reforms.

"All of our reforms are directed towardsintegration in European structures. Recent developments and the fact that visa liberalization has already opened the door to Europe, proves that we succeeded in carrying out the reforms announced by the Georgian Dream, "- said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
