The Greek Prime Minister was the first , who congratulated to Georgian Prime Minister and members of the government with visa-free travel.
After the meeting Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Alexis Tsipras made joint statements and discusses details of the meeting.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili underlined that visit to Greece on this important day is symbolic.
" This is a historic day, because Georgia needed great effort to achieve this goal. Mr. Prime Minister, I would like to thank you for the support of Greece to Georgia"s European integration process.
I would kike to emphasize that the political relations between Georgia and Greece are on a high level. I also would like to express our gratitude towards Greece, which for years has supported the European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of our country, "- Giorgi Kvirikashvili said.

After the meeting with Alexis Tsipras, Georgian Prime Minister has attended a conference at the Athens National University. The main topic was-Georgia, as an ancient civilization.
The delegation will continue day with a visit to the modern European political center - Brussels.
