The 100-point scoring system has been launched today. Driving license points will be deduced for the violation of more 50 traffic rules. Each administrative offense will result in the subtraction of thepoints from the 100 points assigned to the driver"s license.

The highest score of the breach is 40 and the lowest is 5 points, which are deducted for various violations, including in case of non-use of safety bells. Usage of mobile while driving is fined with 15 points.

The scores reduction system will not be applied to violations recorded by the video or photo cameras as well as on the penalty imposed on the failure of pay the fine imposed on administrative offense;

As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, the decree will take effect starting with July 1, 2017.
