Counting of the damage caused by the fire at the so-called Eliava market will begin today. Experts are expected in the area, after which the territory will be cleaned. At this moment there are rescuers and police officers.

For security reasons, law enforcers made a cordon in order not to allow the citizens enter the burnt area.

Representatives of the market administration say that their interrogation has already occurred. The reasons for the fire are unknown yet. Market leadership can not speak of what could have led to a fire eruption.

The administration claims that the building, which was burnt down as a result of the fire, was insured. Investigation will establishe the causes of the fire. After that the issue of compensation will be solved.

Didube district governor is also planning to visit the accident site and meet with the victims. Irma Zavradashvili will visit burnt buildings.
