Hundreds of families live in dangerous conditons in Tbilisi waiting for reconstruction of their houses. In spite of many promises, the additional problem in the historic districts is created by the status of a cultural monument that the houses have . Local authorities and agencies accuse the population of delaying reconstruction. While the locals try to repair their homes on their own.

Residents of Mazniashvili 37 request urgent strengthening of the cultural heritage monument from the government. They say that life is becoming more anf more dangerous here every day. In the municipality the "Courier" was told that the cause of the problem is the passivity of the population.

The house in Tsinamdzgvrishvili"s 73 is falling down. Deputy Governer says that nobody has applied to them regarding this building.

Zaal Udumashvili, the Tbilisi Mayoral candidate for "National Movement", got acquainted with the situation in emergency houses in Chugureti district.

There are still dozens of buildings in Chugureti district waiting for reconstruction. It is not yet clear what the fate of those houses will finally be.
