A phone conversation has been held between the Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili and the President of the Venice Commission Gianni Buquicchio.

The information, released on the official Facebook page of the Prime Minister states that the Venice Commission President has thanked the Prime Minister of Georgia for active involvement in the process of constitutional changes and the steps taken by the government to continue a dialogue with a broader consensus.

"Gianni Buquicchio said at the end of the conversation with Giorgi Kvirikashvili that he is more optimistic today and expressed his hope that all sides involved in the process of constitutional amendments will take concrete steps and the next parliament will be more pluralistic.
On the other hand, Giorgi Kvirikashvili has thanked Gianni Buquicchio for active cooperation and support, "the report says.
