The Minister of Infrastructure have responded to the statements made by the President of Georgia regarding the Code of Self-Government. Zurab Alavidze criticized Giorgi Margvelashvili. According to the minister, he does not agree with the president`s view that the amendments are being implemented for the subordination of self-governing cities to the central government.

Zurab Alavidze says that the changes that are implemented in the self-government code are important. According to Alavidze, the government has taken steps towards decentralization.

The cabinet meeting is underway at the government"s administration. Ministers today will discuss 19 issues.
