Parliaments of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine will address to the European Parliament with a request to adopt a resolution in their support. The decision has been initiated by Irakli Kobakhidze and taken before the Eastern Partnership Summit.

The legislative bodies of three countries consider that the European Parliament should once again call on the Council of Europe, to give the opportunity to the three associate countries to become the EU members under Article 49 of the EU Treaty.

"This year, as you know, the Eastern Partnership Summit is being held, where the issue of our European perspectives will be discussed as well and according to personally my initiative, the speakers of three countries- Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine have addressed our European friends with a letter and asked them to express their support once again. It is very important for us to reiterate support to our European perspective at this summit, "said Irakli Kobakhidze.
