The President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili welcomes the initiative of the Prime Minister under which the ruling team is ready to start a dialogue. The announcement was made on an event, arranged by the Embassy of the United States on the occasion of the Independence Day. The President of Georgia mentioned an ongoing political processes in the country.

Giorgi Margvelashvili calls on the opposition, civil society and political groups to actively engage in the process of discussions. He also applied to the majority to refrain from influencing political processes and to engage in dialogue.

"I would like to welcome the Prime Minister"s proposal, the initiative about the dialogue. I urge the opposition, political groups, civil society to actively engage in the process in regard to reach a consensus on the constitution. I would like to urge the parliamentary majority t not to abuse the political process and be in a dialogue, "Giorgi Margvelashvili said.
