Irakli Pirtskhalava and Giorgi Tsaadze, former high-ranking criminal police officers were visited by the representative of the Public Defender`s Office late last night.

According to him, the health of the detainees is satisfactory and they do not have physical injuries. However, the Ombudsman`s Office requires withdrawal of footage from the surveillance cameras.

Irakli Pirtskhalava and Giorgi Tsaadze, who are on hunger strike,stated that they are under pressure.

Irakli Pirtskhalava`s wife says that psychological pressure against the convict is carried out and she does not rule out physical assault.

Giorgi Tsaadze, former high-ranking official also informed his family about physical assault on Irakli Pirtskhalava.
