The politician, businessman, editor of the American Illustrated magazine, Konstantin Borovoy, thinks that the visit of the Alliance of Patriots in Moscow is a diplomatic error, as Russia will use the meeting in Duma in its own interests and declare that Georgia has recognized the occupation.

"I think this is a diplomatic mistake, because it is wrong to take the occupation problem into the frame of negotiations. Negotiations should start when a country with which you speaks performs international obligations. In the face of occupation and provocations, diplomacy is no longer in place. It is not necessary to talk about security measures. This is a different kind of talk that needs other tools. Starting talks in such a way means that you like Russian action, this is another stimulus for Russia to create new provocations. I am sure that the Russian side will use this meeting for propagandist purposes and show everyone that Georgia has recognized occupation, "- Konstantin Borovoy says.

The politologist says it seems as if the Georgian lawmakers`s visit to Moscow is a decision of the Georgian Dream and the ruling team does not openly express the position because the foreign, pro-Western orientation in the country is strictly formulated.

"From here, from Moscow it seems that this is the decision of the Georgian Dream. On the one hand it should start a dialogue with Russia, but it is also obliged to take into account the opinion of the people and thus discredit the opponents and not themselves. Such solid basis of Georgia`s foreign orientation was laid by the previous government that no new government will be able to change the direction openly, " -Konstantin Borovoy said.
