Russia is trying to transfer international negotiations into bilateral dialogue format - is the assessment made by Georgian experts regarding Sergei Lavrov.`s statement. According to experts, the Russian side will winin case of the bilateral format of dialogue andthe Georgian government will be forced to fulfill its wishes.
" Russia wants to substitute international dialogues with bilateral dialogues, it is very acceptable for them because it will be a dilague of a very strong side with a very weak side and they will force us to do everything they want, "- said Nodar Kharshiladze, the founder of the Georgian Strategic Analysis Center.
Experts advise the Georgian authorities to strengthen international pressure on Russia.
"So far the new government of Georgia has done everything to make them happy. In some way the rhetoric of the Georgian government has helped to restore cultural ties and trade. Even this Russia does not seem to like and they want us to recognize the new reality such as independence of Tskhinvali and Sokhumi, "- said Tornike Sharashenidze, founder of the Strategic Analysis Center.
