International Conference "Georgia"s European Way" is underway in Batumi. Representatives of international community, diplomatic corps, the parliamentary opposition attend the conference.

Roman Gotsiridze, one of the leaders of United National Movement, responds to the statements made by the Prime minister and the President in regard to the occupation and states that the ruling team should make such critical statements more often.

"It is good that the issue of occupation of Georgia has beem focused by the President and the Prime Minister in the frame of such an authoritative forum , "says Roman Gotsiridze.

One of the leaders of "European Georgia" Sergi Kapanadze speaks about inadequate reaction of the government. the MP from the Parliamentary minority draws attention to the importance of the conference.

"Occupation is not static, it continues . Russia continues provocative actions and unfortunately it is not always adequate responded,"- says Sergi Lapanadze.
