"I once again tell the population of Georgia and I warn you if we continue this unwise policy and if we do not talk with the Russian authorities, we may later regret and wish we had the current situation,"- said Nino Burjanadze, chairwoman of the Democratic Movement - United Georgia in response to Minister Sergey Lavrov`s statement about the possibility of "other level of relations" with the Georgian government.
According to Burjanadze, direct dialogue with Russia is necessary. Representative of the opposition assess the government`s statements on this issue as "criminal position".
"The official government of Georgia again made shameful statement saying that dialogue, negotiations with Russia make no sense. I want to emphasize that this is a criminal position, "- said Nino Burjanadze.
